EXHIBITION AND SALE INFORMATION
The exhibition and sale of the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association will open Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Each person purchasing a ticket for the sale will receive a ballot book containing one ballot for each work in the exhibition. Each person bidding on a piece of art must sign the ballot with his or her name, as it appears on a check or credit card. The purchaser has from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to drop his signed and numbered ballot in the box by the works he wishes to purchase. At 7:30 p.m. a salesperson will draw three names and post them on a large card above each item. The person whose name is posted first will have 20 minutes to reach the salesperson and purchase the items. ONLY THE PERSON WHOSE NAME IS ON THE BALLOT CAN CLAIM THE PIECE. All purchases require payment in full that evening. Once the sale is final, the seller will write SOLD on the card. If the first individual does not claim the item within 20 minutes, or if the sale is declared invalid, the second name will be eligible to purchase the item. When that 20 minutes expires, the third name is now eligible to purchase. We urge all patrons to remain in the gallery until all sales are final. At 8:30 p.m., unclaimed items are available on a first come, first serve basis. Checks are to be made payable to the National Cowboy Museum. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards are also accepted. State and local sales tax will be added to the purchase price when applicable. Any tax exemption must be verified. All items will remain on display until the close of the exhibition December 2, 2007. We greatly appreciate your support of the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association.
