As the weather gets colder and holiday music fills the airwaves, we’re starting to dream about snow and spending time with our loved ones. Grab a mug of hot coco and cozy up with these historic images of winters past from the museum’s archives! Here’s your guide to navigating through a winter wonderland:
This winter, try your hand at a winter sport! Take a turn down the bunny hills or, for the really adventurous, a fast-paced sled race might be right up your alley.
Perhaps you’re into more leisurely activities? Ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and building snowmen are perfect for snow-time fun.
But when the snow starts to pile up, sometimes it’s not all fun and games. This cowboy works hard driving a long line of cattle through the thick snow. Brr!
Once you’ve had your fun in the snow, warm up inside and enjoy some holiday cheer with your loved ones. Let the merriment begin!
If playing in the snow isn’t your idea of fun, you can always load up the family and go shopping!
Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season!
