Mother Lode Round-Up
“The Mother Lode Round-Up is a traditional western family, and hometown reunion that celebrates and pays tribute to the regional agricultural heritage and the posse men that kept this special event alive. People from all over the region look forward to a fun time celebrated during the beautiful spring season in the Sierra Nevada foothills. This event is a celebration of memories of simpler way of life and rodeo as it used to be. The Round-Up celebrates Mother’s Day in rodeo style.
The Mother Lode Round Up Rodeo is a two day competition with rodeo action Saturday & Sunday. The Round Up Rodeo is a real bronco-bustin’ rodeo where rodeo stars compete in bareback riding, barrel racing, bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and team roping.
Over 350 of pro-rodeo’s finest cowboys and cowgirls are attracted to the event. The weekend attracts over 50,000 rodeo fans and visitors every year. The Round-up Rodeo has always been respected as one of California’s finest yearly events.”
