Biographical Sketch
The Quarter Circle U Ranch near Birney, Montana, is located in the eastern part of the state. The ranch was founded by George Warren Brewster in 1882, and is still under family ownership today. It operates as a cow-calf and yearling ranch.

The Quarter Circle Ranch Photographs document ranch life, rodeos, and local wildlife at the Quarter Circle Ranch in 1928. It is comprised of 284 photographs and negatives.
