Museum Lobby and Galleries Socialize after hours during a free K-12 professional development session at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
Join Michael Grauer, McCasland Chair of Cowboy Culture and Curator of Cowboy Collections and Western Art, for an exploration of the Museum’s world-renowned Western art collection and discuss history as it is portrayed, accurately or inaccurately, in the works of art.
· Investigate the Museum’s art collection relating to the history of the American West
· Receive resources about the Museum’s collections to use in the classroom
· Obtain 2.5 hours of professional development
· Receive museum admission, a free field trip for students, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and time to network with other educators
This event is free; a registration deposit of $10, which will be refunded to all attending, is due at the time of enrollment.
