Welcome back to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum! Join us for our first post-quarantine Kids Take Over the Cowboy with extended activity hours. We’re rolling out everything we didn’t get to share while safely sheltering-in-place. Be among the first to explore Liichokoshkomo’, the Museum’s brand new outdoor playscape. Determine what to pack in your covered wagon, explore Native American dwellings, and figure out how frequently the geyser erupts! ARTSPACE at Untitled artists will be onsite to help you create a screen print inspired by Warhol and the West, on exhibit through July 5. Local artist Courtney Abbott will show how to grab a paintbrush and create your own Western landscape masterpiece just like the ones you’ll find throughout the Museum (it could get a little messy, dress appropriately or bring an apron). Enjoy Storytime at 11:00 a.m., Noon and 1:00 p.m. Free for members or with Museum admission. Available while supplies last.
