Lewis & Clark Revisited [OLLI-OSU afternoon class]

Instructor: Western historian and educator Luann Sewell Waters.

 

The journey made by the Corps of Discovery, led by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, is looked upon as the opening of the American West. Explore the journey through journal entries, works of art, historical photos, and more. This class, held at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, reviews the trip’s many discoveries and impacts, and tells what became of the corps members and the people they met following the expedition.

Offered in conjunction with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Oklahoma State University.
