The Art & Life of Lowell Ellsworth Smith

Ohio water-colorist Lowell Ellsworth Smith work encompasses his native Ohio, the western United States, Mexico, and Europe. A group of more than 50 watercolor sketches by Smith, both figure studies and landscapes, are featured in this collection. The collection also includes more than 450 photographs documenting Smith’s personal and professional life. Below are just a few of the items in the collection.
