    • Print out the form and mail in to the Museum

Rules of Sale

Bidders have until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13 to place their bids on the works they wish to bid.

Shortly after 7:00 p.m. bids will be processed. The first name posted will have 20 minutes to confirm the purchase.

If the first individual has not claimed the piece during the initial 20-minute period, the second name is eligible to purchase the art for the next 20 minutes.

20 minutes following the second horn, unsold works will be available to purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

Paying for Your Purchase

Only the person who claims artwork can pay for the piece. All art purchases require payment in full at the time of the sale unless bidding by proxy.

Forms of Payment

Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted and subject to a 3% credit card fee. Due to the unique nature of this sale, Oklahoma state and local sales tax (8.625%) will be added to the purchase price only for artwork being shipped or purchased within the state of Oklahoma. For proxy bidders paying by check payment must be received at the Museum by Wednesday, November 18. Tax exemptions will be verified, and buyers must present proof of exemption at the time of purchase.

Shipping

If attending purchasers are encouraged to take their artwork with them at the close of the event. However, shipping arrangements can be made. Purchasers must coordinate shipping arrangements with the Derek Marzolf, Special Exhibits Shipping Coordinator by calling (405) 478-2250 ext. 249 or by email at dmarzolf@nationalcowboymuseum.org. Items will be shipped to the buyer according to agreed-upon arrangements.
