Experience art, living cultures and unique perspectives while learning about the 39 Tribal Nations in Oklahoma today and Western history. Visit museum ticket desks at either institution to purchase.

Coat Check
A complimentary coat check is available at the Visitor Services Desk. For safety reasons, all umbrellas, parcels, purses and bags larger than 15 x 9 x 10 inches — including those used to carry cameras and diapers — must be checked at the Visitor Services Desk at the Museum entrance. Contents may be inspected for security reasons.
Accessibility
All Museum areas are wheelchair and handicap accessible. Wheelchairs and strollers are available at no charge on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Photography
Photography of the Museum interior and exterior is allowed in designated areas only and is subject to the Musuem’s photography policies and image rights terms of use. Photography is permitted for private, non-commercial use only. No monopods, bipods, tripods or selfie sticks; please look for signs in the galleries. Drones are not permitted.
Sketching
The Museum invites you to sketch within the galleries and grounds. Pencil, crayon, pastel, charcoal and digital drawing surfaces are permitted. Select sketching materials are available on a first come, first serve basis from Visitor Services Desk in the Museum Lobby.
Ball point, acrylic, oils, watercolor, fountain pen, felt tip and ink are not permitted.

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum hosts several temporary and traveling exhibitions throughout the year. The Museum’s exhibitions strive to preserve and interpret the evolving history and cultures of the American West.
