Celebrating the cowboy
Celebrate National Day of the Cowboy, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
For one unforgettable day, the Museum comes alive with the spirit of the West in honor of The Cowboy — a true American icon. Kids can test their courage, get creative and experience cowboy culture in ways they’ll remember.
Meet PBR Team Oklahoma Wildcatters in person and watch the Ward Family Trick Ropers wow the crowd with high-energy performances.
Little buckaroos can ride a mechanical bull, race around mini-barrels, toss giant horseshoes, make stick horses, pose for caricatures, get their faces painted and create take-home crafts.
Free for members or included with Museum admission.
