Rodeo Memberships
Opened in 1965, the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum preserves and interprets the evolving history and cultures of the American West for education and enrichment of its diverse audiences. The Museum, with its National Rodeo Hall of Fame, is a leading destination for rodeo and Western culture enthusiasts. Working together to preserve the heritage, support the legacy and honor the champions, the Rodeo Historical Society is a long-standing support organization of the National Cowboy Museum. Each National Rodeo Hall of Fame class is chosen via popular vote by the Rodeo Members.
Through memberships and donations, the Rodeo Historical Society can improve the American Rodeo Gallery, enhance the Rodeo Oral History Project, produce The Ketchpen magazine and host the annual National Rodeo Hall of Fame Weekend. Along with celebrating rodeo legends, the Rodeo Historical Society also presents the Ben Johnson Memorial Award and Tad Lucas Memorial Award each year at the Champions’ Dinner and Induction Ceremony.

The Rodeo Historical Society (RHS) is an organization under the auspices of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. RHS Membership supports the rodeo programs of the Museum, including research, an ongoing oral history project, acquisition of collection materials for the American Rodeo Gallery and the prestigious National Rodeo Hall of Fame. Rodeo Members receive free Museum admission, two issues of The Ketchpen Magazine annually, and voting privileges to select Rodeo Hall of Fame Inductees.
