The collection features five photographs of cowboys leading cattle and horse drives across the range.

Biography

There’s no documentation about the person who gave this gift of photographs to the Museum sometime around 1969, other than his name for which the collection is named after him.

Scope & Content Note

This collection contains five mounted photographs of cowboys on the range. The cowboys are involved in cattle and horse drives. Three photographs from the original accession are missing.

Processing Information

The collection was accessioned sometime in 1969 as a gift from George A. Noble. The scope and content note was written by librarian Karen Spilman in February 2003, and the current finding aid was written and posted online by archivist/librarian Laura Anne Heller in October 2009.
