Academy of Western Art: Creating Dynamic Paintings

Prix de West artist Sonya Terpening presents a workshop providing the tools for artists to step out of their comfort zones and reach a higher level of competency regardless of skill level or style. Students will gain command over the arrangement of pattern, line and value to create a great design and execute it with dynamic brush strokes and color. Terpening will help each artist satisfy their own unique sense of what they want to achieve in a painting. Workshop will include painting demonstrations as well as time for students to paint on their own with Terpening’s help and encouragement.
