The Code of the West is a set of unwritten values that guides the lives of Westerners. It teaches values of honesty, hard work, grit, and so much more. This code helped Westerners survive and thrive in the vast landscapes of the Western frontier. 

Larry Mahan lived the Code of the West “talk less, say more” through his actions as a professional rodeo cowboy. Mahan won eight world championships and kept the cowboy lifestyle alive even after retiring from the rodeo scene. Learn more about Larry Mahan and the Code of the West while completing a rodeo craft.
