Heritage Table: Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

May 1 @ 10:00 am - May 31 @ 5:00 pm

May 1 @ 10:00 am May 31 @ 5:00 pm

Aloha! Did you know that May is Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month? Paniolos (Hawaiian cowboys) have been ranching long before ranches began in North America. Learn about paniolo’s heritage and be introduced to one of the most famous paniolos—Ikua Purdy! While you are here, stop by the Heritage Table to create a 3-D hibiscus flower and discover what it means to “live in Aloha” by watching the Museum’s short feature film, Walk in Beauty. Free to Museum members or with Museum admission.
