Reading Rodeo: Coyote Trickster
June 24 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
June 24 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am
Meet Cookie the Chuckwagon Cook each Tuesday in June and July for a special reading of one of our favorite books about the West. Learn how the Code of the West inspired characters from children’s literature, join Cookie on Trail Rides into the galleries, and take home a memory to enjoy after your visit.
In Coyote Trickster, we’ll read the fable of a coyote who wants to fly like crows. His boasting and rude behavior cause him to plummet to the earth, accounting for his dust color and burnt tail.
Locations for each week’s Reading Rodeo will be provided at the front desk.
Free with Museum admission or membership.
