Meet Cookie the Chuckwagon Cook each Tuesday in June and July for a special reading of one of our favorite books about the West. Learn how the Code of the West inspired characters from children’s literature, join Cookie on Trail Rides into the galleries, and take home a memory to enjoy after your visit.
In Sacagawea, we’ll read the biographical story of the interpreter and negotiator between several tribes and the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery, contributing to the survival and success of the expedition.
Locations for each week’s Reading Rodeo will be provided at the front desk.
