Exhibition Overview

Its name might indicate the eastern origins of those who labeled it, but the American West is far larger than a single perspective. Explore how Hispanic peoples shaped the region and its history, from vaqueros to modern vocabulary, through photographs, maps and illustrations from the Museum’s Dickinson Research Center.
