This collection contains 46 photographs of an assortment of people involved with the 101 Ranch in Bliss, Oklahoma.
The 101 Ranch is best known for their popular travelling Wild West Show that performed from 1905-1926. In addition to being a popular show in America, the show also traveled internationally to England and Europe. The show was comprised of Western displays including trick roping, sharp shooting, and other acts. Perfomances by Native Americans, Lucille Mulhall, Bill Pickett, and Tom Mix were popular.
Scope & Content Note
This collection contains 46 photographs of the 101 Ranch in Bliss, Oklahoma. Most of the photographs are of people involved with the ranch and Wild West Show. There is a photographic postcard of the Miller brothers and three photographs of the 101 Ranch baseball team. Tom Mix and Lucille Mulhall are in the photographs as well as other performers.
All the photographs and postcards have been digitized and are available to view through the DRC’s online image database.
