Jimalee Burton Photograph and Explaination of Green Corn Dance

This collection consists of one photograph and one type-written history of the Green Corn Dance of the Creek Indians, all given to the Museum by Jimalee Chitwood Burton. Persons in the photograph are closely connected with the early history of Oklahoma City and the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The history and description of the “Green Corn Dance” provides instruction for participating in this Creek Indian dance.
