Bill Pickett (Saturday) and Buffalo Soldier (Sunday)
On Saturday, keep your eye out for Bill Pickett, rodeo cowboy, famous for (among other things) introducing bulldogging to modern rodeo. Sunday, look for the Buffalo Soldier, a member of the U.S. Army cavalry and infantry regiments of Black men that served from 1867 – 1869.
Seminole and Cherokee Fur Trader Camp
Engage with historical interpreters as they illustrate what makes up an 18-century Seminole and Cherokee fur trader camp.
