March 12 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Join Chief Curatorial Officer David Davis as he introduces the exhibition, Route 66: From Trails to Truck Stops. The story of the American West is a story of movement — travel by various modes of transportation over trails, roads, and, eventually, the highways of today. Davis will be joined by Jim Ross and Shellee Graham, authors of Route 66: The First 100 Years. They will share the history of the route through its events, people and places that made it a legend.
Following the presentation, join the authors in a book signing of Route 66: The First 100 Years.
Bring your lunch or purchase one at The Museum Grill.
Reservations required. $5; free for Museum members. Space limited, open until full.
