In celebration of Dia de los Muertos, the National Cowboy Museum invites visitors to contribute to a community ofrenda. An ofrenda is prepared to remember and honor the memory of ancestors. It typically consists of items or photographs that will identify the person to whom it is dedicated along with staples of celebration such as calaveras, papel picados and marigolds. Visitors are invited to bring copies of photographs of loved ones for the ofrenda (please no food or plant items). Free for members or with Museum admission.
