After his presidential re-election in 1904, Theodore Roosevelt was determined to address the plummeting population of bison. Through his continued support for the American Bison Society and living the Code of the West principle “Always finish what you start,” Roosevelt left a lasting impact on the bison population. Stop by the Museum’s Heritage Table to explore what the Code of the West means and how YOU can be part of it by completing a craft that will make you part of the herd!
