Each month, the Museum highlights a different Code of the West at the Discovery Table.
Learn the stories of individuals who have embraced the West and “Live the Code” and participate in a self-directed activity.
Korczak Ziolkowski, the artist and sculptor who created the Crazy Horse Memorial in Black Hills, South Dakota, lived the Code of the West, “When you Make a Promise, Keep It,” by sculpting the largest monument in the West. Ziolkowski promised to dedicate his life to working on the sculpture for as long as he could. Learn more about Korczak Ziolkowski’s work and create your own sculpture.
