Storytelling with Chickasaw Nation
Hear stories from the rich oral tradition of the Chickasaw Nation. Learn, connect and discover the timeless art of Chickasaw storytelling. Develop stories and characters to tell stories of your own.
Join Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma in learning about the basketweaving artform that was common among First Americans. Weave strips of paper together to get a basic understanding of the technique as part of the Okla Homma Badge. Not a Girl Scout? That’s okay, anyone can participateand learn how to become a member!
Free for members or with Museum admission. Available while supplies last.
