Jolly Bill: Cartoonist & Comedian

This highlights the papers and photographs of cartoonist and radio and television performer William “Jolly Bill” Steinke. The 29 photographs primarily document his professional career with publicity photographs from his radio and television career and personal appearances. Several photographs of his activities with the New York Circus Saints and Sinners Club are also included. Below are just a few of the items in the collection.
