The Museum will close at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 for an event.

Saddle Bronc Riding

Much like calf roping, saddle-bronc riding is a rodeo sport originally derived from the daily demands of the hard-working cowboy.

From as early as the 1800s, brave cowboys stepped up to the challenge of breaking wild horses in the open for use on the ranch.

Watch how saddle-bronc riding moved from the prairie to the arena.
