Photographer John Langmore expresses his passion for the 21st-century cowboy through the photo exhibit “The Cowboy Returns.” His project captures the tough working conditions cowboys endure, as well as glimpses into their personal lives off duty. Langmore has a special appreciation for the lifestyle, having experienced it first-hand growing up.
“What I tried to do was track a working cowboy’s life through all the various aspects of their job. In addition, I obviously wanted it to be a very personal project, like their time off, at home with their families, trying to really paint a full and authentic picture of the life of the working cowboy in the 21st century,” Langston said.
