Every year the Museum displays a new exhibition dedicated to the history of Native American culture in the Silberman Gallery. The gallery’s namesakes, Arthur and Shifra Silberman, put their resources into collecting and preserving the history, art, and legacy of Native Americans, which they graciously donated to the Museum. The collection contains more than 2,500 works of art, created by 190 Native American artists representing 55 different cultural and tribal backgrounds.
