Biographical Sketch
Zane Gray (January 31, 1872 – October 23, 1939) was an American author who was best known for his novels about life in the American West. Many of his novels were used as the basis for western films in the twentieth century.
Scope & Content Note
This collection is comprised of eight postcards sent from Zane Gray to Daniel Murphy and Florence Boise. The postcards were mailed from Pennsylvania, Mexico, Cuba, Yucatan, and the Bahamas.

This collection was gifted to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in 1974 by Florence L. Bodurtha.
