Four Acts, One Special Night

We’re thrilled Kylie Morgan will be headlining the Goin’ West Music Fest right here at The Cowboy on Sept. 13, presented by Fowler Automotive.

Kylie will be part of the show, which also includes Wyatt Zane, Chloe Fredericks and Finis Smith. Kylie’s CMT Music Award-nominated song “If He Wanted To He Would” hit country radio’s Top 40 and became her first gold record single earlier this year. She has amassed nearly 400 million streams online, and her current single, “Two Night Stands,” is available everywhere. As Billboard Magazine said recently, “It’s a good time to be Kylie Morgan.”

We’re fired up to host all of these great artists for what will be a great night of music and fun. Big thanks to our partners at Fowler Automotive, Jake FM, Coors, Cowboy Cold, the Jones Assembly, Cresap Family Foundation and Cline Construction for their support! About the Artists

Kylie Morgan

Kylie Morgan has quickly proven herself to be a relatable storyteller and an engaging live performer. The Oklahoma native is known for baring her soul in her confessional lyrics and leaving her heart on the stage. At 14, she began touring full-time and hasn’t slowed down, checking off bucket-list appearances including her Grand Ole Opry debut and a successful first-ever headlining tour. She performed at Nissan Stadium for CMA Fest, has taken the stage at major festivals, and just wrapped being on the road with Old Dominion for her first arena trek on the band’s No Bad Vibes Tour. The CMT Music Awards-nominated “If He Wanted To He Would” hit country radio’s Top 40 and helped set the stage for Kylie’s current headlining tour, the Making It Up As I Go Tour. The EMI Recording Artist’s music has amassed nearly 400million streams. Kylie’s current single “Two Night Stands” is available everywhere now.

Wyatt Zane

Growing up in rural Oklahoma, Wyatt Zane has always dreamt of being a musician. He received his first guitar at the age of eleven and joined his first band at sixteen years old. He continued traveling and performing with the band until moving to Weatherford, Ok. to pursue a college education. His passion for music continued to grow, as he found his place playing lead guitar for another emerging band. Wyatt’s confidence as a musician grew and made the decision to branch off as an independent artist playing acoustic shows for many well-known venues all over Oklahoma and Texas. He is no stranger to the Oklahoma music scene, as he has been blessed to perform at Calf fry festival in Stillwater, OK., The Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa, Ok., Bubba’s Brewhouse in Durant, Ok., JJ’s Alley in OKC, The Tumbleweed in Stillwater, OK. and countless others opening for major Nashville and Texas country artist. In early 2021, Wyatt recorded his first two singles with Grammy winning producer Casey Wood. His first release “Like a Melody” soared onto the Top 100 Texas Radio Charts, and made its debut on the Texas Music Pickers Playlist, climbing its way up to #54. After countless fan requests, Wyatt began the search for the perfect talent to complete his band. Each member brings their own unique, powerful artistry to the stage with every performance. We have Rydder Hayes on lead guitar, Mitchell Spille on guitar and keys, Hayden Pennington on bass, and Jeremy Hayes on the drums. This electric group of talented musicians is ready to bring the heat to a stage near you.

Chloe Fredericks

Chloe began writing songs from a very young age. She recalls her first memory writing was when she was on a cattle drive around age five. “We were on the reservation where I’m from in Twin Buttes. It was a long day and my little sister, and I were riding behind the huge herd, and I just started making up a song. Cate soon joined in, and it was a song we remembered for a long time but now, can’t recall. I remember it was happy though, and about a red wagon.” Her mom would always call Chloe her little singing birdy, a name that soon stuck and stayed with her in her music career. Some of Chloe’s fondest memories are singing alongside her dad, who still resides with his wife and Chloe’s mother, Kami in North Dakota.  She was raised on a ranch there all of her life and learned by the cowboy way of living. If you get bucked off of a horse, you get right back on. It helped carry Chloe through the more trying times in the ever-changing music business.

Finis Smith

Finis Smith was raised on his family Bar Double Diamond Ranch. As a young boy on many trips with his parents they would listen to the radio and sing along to all those old tunes. On those trips he was introduced and spent time around many talented entertainers. Lynn Anderson, Mentor Williams, and Don Edwards just to name a few. At the age of 7 Finis was given his great grandmother’s fiddle. While running track at Tarleton State University his love of music blossomed and he started taking fiddle and guitar lessons. Finis has learned that the more you practice the more accomplished you become. Today, Finis raises Hereford- Angus cross cattle on his ranch and models for Cavender’s, Cowboys and Indians, and other clothing brands. He is playing all around the north central Texas Area.
