The Museum offers a daily guided tour Monday – Saturday (12:30 p.m.– 1:30 p.m.) and Sunday (1:00 p.m.– 1:50 p.m.).

Tickets are $2.00 per person and can be purchased through Membership and Guest Services along with your admission.

The Cowboy Origin Tour

Trace the heart of cowboy culture from its vibrant origin story through Hollywood and into the adrenaline-pumping world of modern rodeo. Leave with an understanding and deep appreciation for what the cowboy represents.

Reservations are required for all group rates. You may arrange your visit by calling the Visitor Services Manager at (405) 478-2250 or email in advance of the desired date. We offer guided adult tours when requested, with at least two weeks notice. Guides cannot be guaranteed due to their volunteer status, however every effort will be made to provide a guide if requested.

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City offers many educational field trip opportunities. Ignite your students’ curiosity and enhance your classroom curriculum with one of the Museum’s interactive programs.
