Lane Frost, Ben Johnson, Bill Pickett and more

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum’s American Rodeo Gallery contains artifacts from some of the sports legendary figures. We have the saddle of Bill Pickett, who invented steer wrestling, as well as the shirt, chaps and hat of the late Lane Frost (right).

Telling the story of rodeo is essential to the largest tale of the culture and history of the American West.
