Rodeo and Western Lifestyle Promoter

Born at Paso Robles, California, in 1967, Randy Bernard has spent his professional career making rodeo and the western lifestyle prominent throughout America and beyond. He became CEO of the Professional Bull Riders Inc. (PBR), in 1995 and made it a worldwide success.

Responding to national and international demand, a boom in rodeo sponsorship and massive television deals, Bernard guided the PBR to unprecedented heights during his 15 years as CEO. He moved on to IndyCar, overseeing all aspects of that business as CEO from 2010-12. Bernard became Rural Media Group’s CEO in December 2012, including RFD-TV. His leadership was instrumental in the highly successful “The American Rodeo” production in 2014 that paid out $2 million in a single day.

Bernard has transitioned into the position of CEO of the Events and Western Lifestyle Division at RFD-TV, and also plays a major role in the production company of recording artist Garth Brooks.
“I think the most important thing about the rodeo industry is the people,” Bernard once observed.
