Contemporary beadworkers have moved well past traditional abstract and geometric forms in their beadwork. The incorporation of wolfs is a very popular design motif that is seen on necklaces, blankets, and is utilized on the Darth Vader beaded helmet by Huichol artist Álvaro Ortiz López—Puwari from Mexico.
