Established in 2009 as the buyers' choice award, the Cynthia Post Memorial Award shifted in 2022 to honor artistic merit. Post, the Museum's assistant director of development from 2003 to 2009, was known for her courage and dedication during her battle with cancer, and played a key role in creating Small Works, Great Wonders.
