Pete Coors

Pete Coors

Mr. Coors is a native of the State of Colorado and great-grandson of Adolph Coors, who founded the Golden brewery in 1873. He currently serves as chairman of Molson Coors Beverage Company. Now retired from active employment, he has served in several executive positions including president and chairman of Coors Brewing Company and chairman of Molson Coors Brewing Company.

Mr. Coors is also a manager of Keystone Holdings LLC and a director of Adolph Coors Company LLC, the trust company serving as trustee of various Coors family trusts. 

Mr. Coors and his wife Marilyn have six children and 15 grandchildren.

EDUCATION
Mr. Coors attended Cornell University where he received his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in 1969. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Denver in 1970. He also has received honorary degrees from Regis University (1991), Wilberforce University (1992), Johnson & Wales University (1997) and Colorado State University (2011).

MEMBERSHIPS AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS

Mr. Coors civic responsibilities include serving as Director of the American Enterprise Institute, the Denver Art Museum Foundation and the Western Stock Show Association.  In 2019, he was appointed as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army – Colorado (North). He is also a member of the Intercontinental Chapter of Young Presidents Organization and sits on the National Advisory Board of ACE Scholarships. Mr. Coors is also past president and trustee emeritus of the Denver Area Council of Boy Scouts of America.

Mr. Coors is an avid outdoorsman and active in wildlife and water conservation. He is a former national president and chairman of Ducks Unlimited.
