Loved your last fundraising post and how you encouraged people, if they have the means, to give not just a single dollar, but one million dollars to help preserve the West and share its diversity with the public, if possible.
Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, we have not received a one million dollar donation at this point. We are still encouraging donations until the end of the year and would love to encourage more memberships.
Be sure to mention that now through December 31, 2020, friends of the Museum can purchase memberships at a discounted price. This a year-round experience that includes:
- Year-round free admission to the Museum and Liichokoshkomo’
- 15% discount at The Museum Store — including online shopping — and a 15% discount at The Museum Grill
- Access to member-exclusive programs and previews
- Invitations and discounts to Museum events and classes
Again. I think I have mentioned this previously, could you send me your blog concept first. Then we can discuss and post it for friends and fans of the Museum around the globe. Email me first. Then we post it. Appreciate it.

Looks like we’ve been getting a lot of $1 and $100 donations to the Museum. Thanks so much to all of you! This really means a lot to me and everyone here at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. And we can’t wait to have all the new members visit, especially during the holiday season.
Don’t forget the 1 in #HashtagHowTheWestWas1 can also mean a $1 million dollar donation. Just wanted to make sure that was clear.
