Bio

R.W. Hampton is one of the leading Western Entertainers in America today. Hamption started out as a working ranch cowboy, he is now known for his patriotism, his family values and Christian beliefs. His voice and songs resonate with audiences worldwide. He is known as today’s “voice of Cowboy Music.”

Blessed with a wonderfully rich baritone voice, Hampton has a quality of genuineness about him that resonates when he’s on stage, on screen, in person or just through the words of his songs.

Hampton has fourteen albums to his credit over the past 30 years. Prior to tonight, his peers in the entertainment industry have honored him 17 times, including three Western Heritage Wrangler Awards and induction into the Western Music Association’s Hall of Fame.

In addition to his music career Hampton has appeared in ads on radio, TV, print and billboards for Levis, Resistol, Atwoods Ranch and Home, Stetson, and over a dozen Western movies.

One of Hampton’s most creative efforts is the one-man musical stage play, The Last Cowboy, written with his brother, Jeff, and playwright Dave Marquis.  

Today R.W. and his wife split their time between Amarillo, Texas and their Clearview Ranch at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Cimarron, New Mexico.
