Junior Rodeo Membership launches for young fans

We are thrilled to announce a significant new outreach initiative: the launch of the Jr. Rodeo Membership through a joint effort between The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and the Rodeo Historical Society.

This new membership is available to dedicated rodeo fans and participants under 18, or to those with a valid student ID. Priced affordably at just $25, this initiative directly aligns with our mission to preserve the heritage, support the legacy and honor the champions of the West’s original sport.

We recognize that the future of Rodeo depends on its passionate youth participants. This program is designed to make involvement with our institutions more accessible. We are grateful to our partner, Wrangler, whose support allows us to keep the price low while providing each Jr. member with a valuable benefit (an NRHF ball cap).

By removing a financial barrier to entry, we are better positioned to support these young individuals through:

  • Educational Outreach: Ensuring they have a connection to the history and traditions housed at The Museum and the National Rodeo Hall of Fame.
  • Scholarship Eligibility: The Jr. Rodeo Membership allows high school students to easily meet the necessary RHS membership requirement of the National High School Rodeo Association RHS Scholarship program. Last year’s scholarship winners were Cash Evans of Fort Supply, Oklahoma and Rylee Jo Maryman of St. Francisville, Louisiana (photo above by Jennings Rodeo Photography).

We are proud to substantially broaden the scope of the existing Rodeo Historical Society scholarship program by directly engaging the next generation of the rodeo community.

Memberships make great holiday gifts! Details can be found using the QR code or the following link: Rodeo Memberships – National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum
