What a weekend!
I recently wrapped up my first Rodeo Weekend since joining The Cowboy team, and what a weekend it was. My heart is full of gratitude for the incredible support shown by everyone in the room. Our guests included the 22 rodeo committees and associations that joined us, our dedicated Rodeo members, the RHS Board of Directors, the Museum’s Board of Directors, and, most importantly, our inductees, honorees, and their families.
I’ve had the privilege of getting to know them and their families over the last few months, and I’d like to think they are part of my family now as well. There was a truly palpable, electric feel in the room as they were recognized for their achievements in front of friends, family, and peers.

Two New Rodeo Memberships Debut!
Based on valuable feedback from many of you over the last year, we are excited to debut two new membership options to help grow our rodeo family:
- Jr. Rodeo Membership: $25 (For those 18 and under or with a valid student ID)
- Dual Membership: $100 (All the privileges of a Rodeo membership, but with two votes. Both ballots must be mailed to the same address.)

Don’t Forget to Nominate!
The support of our Rodeo members is vital! Your nominations for the National Rodeo Hall of Fame and the Ben Johnson Memorial Award are an integral part of this entire process.
Remember: You must be a Rodeo member to make a nomination.
The RHS Advisory Board reviews each nominee thoroughly and annually selects a slate of nominees. Rodeo members then vote by secret ballot to determine inductees into the National Rodeo Hall of Fame, with induction ceremonies being held each fall. We rely on your nominations to ensure that individuals truly worthy of this honor are considered.

As the rodeo year winds down, I look forward to seeing many of you at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas next month.
